Blogging From Albuquerque This Weekend

Yes, I'm finally making the pilgrimage to Albuquerque this weekend (April 4th, 5th and 6th) so Richard and I can start game planning the sequel to "Dark Mission." As I have said before, there's a lot of stuff that didn't make it into the book, and we'll be going over all of that again as well as gobs of new material. The challenge is really to decide what to include and what to exclude, since we have so much and could take the next project in so many different directions.

I'll try to update once or twice a day over the weekend and include some pictures.

Hi Mike,

About your upcoming sequel---

Need I say that it appears that YouTube.com
is a veritable gold-mine of information?

After weeding, of course.... ;-)

It's practically "Wiki-Video!" :-))

:-)

P.S.: Enjoy your time in Albuquerque!

:-)

I've just finished reading yours and Richard's book and I have to say it was absolutely fascinating from beginning to end.

For me, the most interesting theory (and hopefully proveable in the very short term) concerns Nansen Crater. I agree it could be an entrance / gateway, but may be a natural cave into the South Massif rather than artificially constructed. Having said that, the South Massif itself does show clear geometry.

I've just looked on Google Moon and there are some very good NASA photos there which show Nansen (and Shorty) in very sharp detail.

I really think you and Richard should focus on getting more images of this area and doing in depth analysis. Surely, all the upcoming remote missions (India, China etc)to the Moon should obtain better data.

What data does Russia have? Will they share it?

Wishing you a breakthrough this year!
